Here is everything you need to know happening at the lake in June.

Lake Race 2022
Thursday, June 2 - Saturday, June 4
MM0 - MM4
What You Need to Know: The course begins at MM0 by Neon Taco & the Bagnell Dam and continues down to 4MM. On Thursday, there will be a Racers Reception at The Encore from 5pm - 8pm. Friday will be the Lake Race Street Party from 4pm - 10pm - you won't want to miss this! And finally race day is Saturday beginning at 10:45am with the race taking place 11am - 5pm.

The Great Shootout Treasure Hunt & Float Your Boat
Saturday, June 4
Captain Ron's Bar & Grill
What You Need to Know: Boat races will begin at 1:00pm (arrive no later than 12:30pm if participating) and must only be made out of cardboard and duct tape. The cost is $100 per team and you must register by June 3 to participate. Email jjones@oldkinderhook.com to register your team!
The Treasure Hunt will begin at 5:00pm and all pirates are welcome to dig through the sand and claim your treasure! There will be hundreds of treasure chests filled with treasure. Tickets are $25 each but if you purchase your tickets online, you will save $5. All proceeds will go to The Central Missouri Foster Care & Adoption Association and the Laurie-Sunrise Beach Rotary Club.

Canine Cannonball

Dog Days Bar & Grill
What You Need to Know: This event is free to spectators! Bring your canine athlete to compete and the fun begins at 1:00pm. Onsite registration will be available. How far will your dog jump!?
14th Annual Shootout Benefit Golf Tournament
Monday, June 13

2022 Run for the Horses
Saturday, June 25
Linn Creek City Park
102 West Valley Drive, Linn Creek
What You Need to Know: You have the option of participating in the 5K, 10K or even virtually. If you register in advance, the cost is $20 or $25 the day of the race and the virtual option is $35. Registration will open at 6:30am on the 25th and the race will begin at 7:30am. By participating, you are benefiting the Missouri Forget-Me-Not Horse Rescue in Linn Creek. Be sure to register by June 12 to confirm your t-shirt order!
